(1) The Mark – John Murray:
A complete sellout at the Blackpool Convention.
Boy, is this good! When Al Cohen first showed me The Mark, I was totally baffled! It's a real beauty. Show a half dollar. Ask a spectator to mark the coin in whatever manner she chooses. Just as long as she will remember the mark should she see it again. Now, go through some very funny business as you attempt to vanish the coin. But, try as you might, the coin will not disappear. Finally, in desperation, you reach into your pocket and bring out your Magic Keys. Ask the spectator to hold the keys tightly in her hand and wave them over the coin. As she waves the keys, the marked coin is caused to vanish! And, when she opens her hand, there, inside a solid metal bezel is the marked coin! The same coin she signed earlier is attached firmly to your key chain. The only way the coin may be removed is to unscrew the bezel and take it out! Remember, the coin remains in full view throughout the routine. And, the spectator is holding the key chain long before the coin vanishes! ! The effect is a corker; the coins are beautifully made. Real precision work! They will withstand the most rigorous scrutiny! And, the effect is a snap to perform. If you can do a French Drop, or any other coin vanish, you can do The Mark. This one has our stamp of approval!

(2) Antique Pillbox – Dave Powell: A beautiful prop, crafted by our good friend Dave Powell. Available in very small numbers, so act quickly!
The performer places a glass on the table and borrows a finger ring.
The ring is placed in a handkerchief and given to a spectator to hold over the glass.
He can actually feel the ring through the handkerchief.
The performer removes a small, locked wooden box and places it in full view.
The spectator is asked to drop the ring into the glass. The spectator lets go of the ring as it clinks into the glass.
The handkerchief is whisked away; the ring has vanished!
The spectator unlocks the box himself, and discovers his ring inside!
This does not work like a Lippincott Box. No sliding or pivoting trap doors. It has no magnets. It works like no other box in the world and it's completely examinable!
Once locked the box cannot be opened without removing the lock or using the special tool to activate the secret!

The performer then takes a deck of cards and starts to deal the cards one by one. The spectator can stop at any two cards; again, it is a free choice.
The spectator gets to choose from four different colored poker chips. He does so freely again.
Finally, the spectator sets a random time on a watch.
Now is the time for the miracle to happen: The spectator is invited to open the envelope on the table. Inside is a photograph. On the photograph is the exact same denomination bill, the lucky poker chip, the same two cards and a pocket watch, set to the exact same time as the spectator's prediction. Your spectator brought the story to life by making free choices throughout the routine, which somehow match the photograph exactly.
