(1) Flying Carpet: A small platform, on casters, is rolled to any spot on the floor or stage. On it is a beautifully designed two-fold screen holding up a prop carpet.
A person weighing up to about 140 pounds is placed on the carpet with their legs crossed.
Then, two chrome swords are placed on the platform to further support the carpet.
Next, the screen is pulled out from under the carpet, off the platform, and onto the floor.
Then, the swords are removed! They are waved under, over, and around the carpet. The person on the carpet is suspended in mid-air!
Wave your hand and the carpet slowly revolves; all four sides are seen.
A hoop is passed over the floater and carpet to show that no visible means of support exists.
The screen is placed back under the carpet, and the subject gets down.
Here is a beautiful suspension that can be worked anytime and anywhere.
