Well, happy days are here again. Lucas the Singing Son arrived home from St. Louis Wednesday afternoon, and the family is now all together! It could be raining and pouring and dark as night outside. The sun would still be shining inside our home. For me, there is nothing better in life than having all four of us (oops, five of us, I almost forgot Bones The Dog) together.
Lucas regaled us with stories of his two months with the St. Louis Opera. Actually, Lucas does not so much regale as answer questions posed to him. Did you have fun? Did you sing a lot? How were the shows? Were you offered a contract to sing at The Met? You know, the usual questions. By the way, the answers were: Yes, Yes, Excellent, No. The next step for Lucas is heading off to Princeton, New Jersey in August for graduate school. But, he will be around for the next two months. Yea!
