Hank Lee's Big Book Event!

Greetings from all of us here at Hank Lee's Magic Factory. There is nothing I like more than writing this email Newsletter every week. I like to be funny and clever, sometimes witty. I love to play with words.
This week, I don't feel like being any of those things. On Monday of this week my mother-in-law, Helen Miller, passed away. In three days that can only be described as a horror story, she went from healthy and vibrant to gone. Three days.
Many of you knew Helen. She and Jonah, my father in law, worked here at Hank Lee's for many years. She was the sweet voice on the telephone. She worked at the Registration Booth at every single Cape Cod Conclave.
For me, she was so much more than a mother in law. She was my second mother.
I am so very sad.
But, life goes on, and we have a nice excitement for you this week.
Please read on.

(1) INK – Mickael Chatelain & Paul Harris: A flawless piece of astonishment art featuring an exquisite method that's as heart
stopping as the effect.
Using a normal Sharpie Marker, write a prediction on the clear cellophane of the card case.
Tragically, it's the wrong card.
Everyone stares at the INK on the cellophane. For a moment nothing happens. Then, like some
kind of weird dream, the INK begins to slowly creep and glide along the cellophane. The animated INK gradually re-shapes itself into the correct card!
You actually see the black ink stretch and get longer in some areas, and shrink and contract in others as it visibly morphs into the correct prediction.
A spectator can then immediately rub their fingers over the transformed INK to erase the writing, once again leaving the clear unmarked cellophane.
Right after that, you can hand out the case for examination. It's just a normal case!
No special inks or chemicals. Easily adapts to other numbers, letters or images.
Use as your
normal card case for other effects.
Resets in 10 seconds.
Works with red Bicycle Rider Back and Mandolin Back decks.
$49.95 (30.1613)
Note: This is a non-discountable item.
Coming into stock really soon! Pre-order now and we will pay the shipping!

(2) Mirage – Alex Geiser: With a slow wave, a coin vanishes. There are no strings, wire or magnets, and your hands never touch. It is slow. Delicate. Natural.
No setup. Just one coin.
Mirage has been one of Alex's signature coin vanishes that he's kept to himself for many years. He's now ready to let you in on the secret.
Mirage isn't just a coin vanish. You can vanish virtually any small object with just the wave of your hand. If you wanted a vanish to look like real magic, this is it. Learn multiple, practical methods of restoring the object back to reality.
Taught in 61 minutes of detailed instruction, Mirage is an underground move that until now, was only seen in back rooms at conventions and private gatherings. Today, Mirage is yours.
As a special bonus, Alex also teaches the Lynel Vanish, a coin vanish from the very tip of your finger. $19.95 (20.469)
Note: This is a non-discountable item

(3) Comeback Spider – Tommy James: Based on a Trevor Lewis effect. It's the Homing Card effect for your Halloween shows!
Display the backs of five cards, each with a picture of a spider web. Explain that there are no spiders on the webs, because if there's one thing you hate, it's spiders!
Turn the cards around and tell the kids you have pictures of five different Jack-o-Lanterns.
As you spread the cards, the kids see a big furry spider and are quick to let you know. Finally, you see the spider, act startled and put the spider aside.
Spread the cards again showing four Jack-o-Lanterns. Tell the children one of the Jack-o-Lanterns will disappear when you say "Happy" and they shout "Halloween!"
Once again, a spider appears!
This happens three more times until the kids are in a frenzy.
You finally pick up all the cards and turn around to put them away. Now, there's a spider hanging on your back! The kids go wild!
Cards measure 5 1/2" by 4 1/4". Printed on quality stock with a beautiful protective finish. Full permission given by Trevor Lewis for his handling.
A guaranteed hit for your Halloween shows!
$35.00 (50.973)

(4) Sure Shot – Scott Alexander: Ever wanted to produce a real old-school shot glass full of liquid, under impossible conditions?
Scott Alexander has the answer. Sure Shot provides a safe and secure seal on a standard shot glass (included) that releases instantly and reliably.
This is the perfect shot glass and rubber cover combination.
Unlike other covers that can easily dislodge, this one holds from within, and really grabs and seals the liquid inside.
Plus, it is a real-world shot glass that doesn't look like a gimmicked or fancy glass. It's a real man's whiskey glass.
The cover is made from hearty black, industrial flex rubber. Once the cover is in place, you can manipulate the filled shot glass in an egg bag, carry it in your pocket indefinitely, even spin the glass up in the air and catch it. It really holds its seal until you pull the release. Then, it comes off effortlessly.
If you are looking for a killer surprise ending for your egg bag, or already do a shot glass production from your pocket or paper bag but are looking for a better method, kick back a Sure Shot!
