Read A Book and Save A Lot

Greetings from all of us at Hank Lee’s Magic Factory. Another week has zoomed by! It really is true, the older we get the faster the time goes. Bonnie and I took a short trip to Florida last weekend to visit Aron and celebrate his birthday. Since he goes to school just a short ride from Orlando, we decided to spend his birthday at the Happiest Place On Earth. So, we booked a room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Disney World and spent Saturday and Sunday with the mouse and the duck and the chipmunks. Pretty goofy, huh? Our room at the lodge was situated so that right outside the balcony were all kinds of animals. Zebras, giraffes, pelicans, ducks, bongos and a very loud crane that starting honking very early every morning. On a very personal note, I want to thank our good customer and friend Jeff Smith for “hooking us up” with park passes for the two days. It was mighty nice, for sure.
I have been looking for one more act to round out the Saturday night show at this year’s Cape Cod Conclave. Something a little different. And, I found the perfect act. Chris McDaniel. He does a bull whip act that is really fun and very entertaining. And, something you surely don’t see every day. I think you will really enjoy him. That is, if you have already registered for the Conclave. If you haven’t registered yet, what are you waiting for? It’s coming up in just a couple of months. April 20-22. Click on the Conclave Button at www.magicfact.com and join us!

Now, to this week’s excitement.

The reel has a very thin, long and strong monofilament line, that is invisible at a small distance. There is more line available than any mechanical reel. There is no need for a lock - the line stays extended until you press the switch, to retract it. The motorized reel comes to you ready to use, complete with two AAA cells. $55.00 (10.1366)

It’s All Relative – Arthur Trace: This book focuses on a card move called The Relativity Change. This versatile tool can be used to visually transform a playing card to another card, to simulate the reversal of a stack of cards, to produce a card and to secretly switch out one card for another.
Enclosed in this booklet are three different adaptations of The Relativity Change as well as six routines featuring the sleight. In addition, there is an essay discussing how to effectively structure a magic presentation.
Written by FISM-award winning magician Arthur Trace. 40 pages, saddle stitched. $19.95 (BK01506)

Lucky Dip: Brilliant new magic from England’s Wayne Dobson.
Display a small bag with about 15 coins inside.
The spectator dips their hand inside the bag and removes any coin (let us assume it is a quarter). The spectator remembers the coin and replaces it in the bag. ?Then, the spectator takes the bag and shakes it to mix the coins. You reach into the bag and remove a coin, and it is the same coin as the one the spectator selected.
Offer to explain how you did it. Empty the bag onto the table and every coin is the same; they are all quarters. Easy!
Offer to repeat the effect, only this time the spectator signs the coin. They place all the coins into the bag and the give it a good shake. You then reach into the bag with your obviously empty hand and remove one coin. It is the signed coin!
Sounds impossible, but true! It is also 100% self-working and instantly resets. Comes with a custom made bag and a precision made gimmick. $40.00 (20.363)

Vanishing & Appearing Coke Bottle: This special bottle appears or vanishes in the blink of an eye! Hence the name. Made by same folks who make the Vanishing & Appearing Glass, so you know how cool it is.
Put the bottle inside a small paper-bag. Crumple the bag and the bottle is gone!
Show a silk from both sides and have the bottle suddenly appear!
With your empty hand, reach into the air and produce a bottle!
Produce many bottles from your coat pocket or from a small paper-bag.
In the detailed instructions, many different ways of making the bottle appear or vanish are described.
This bottle perfectly imitates a real Coke bottle. It's about 7.8 inches (20 cm) high. $39.95 (60.1406)

Labelled: Ben Williams’ Labelled takes visual street magic to the next level!
Imagine being able to show an unopened and sealed soda bottle, sign the label, then visually, with an open hand, push it inside the bottle!.
Sound good? How about if the bottle really is unopened and can be left with the spectator as an impossible souvenir?
Ben Williams has taken a stunning magic effect and turned it into a visual street magic masterpiece for the working magician.
Labelled does not have to stop at your signature. You can write whatever you like on the label: your contact details, website or even a prediction! It's limited only by your imagination!
Is labelled easy to do?
Yes! If you can hold a bottle, you can do this effect! Ben has slowly perfected the design of this effect through constant development and real world performance to strip out all the moves and sleights, allowing you to focus on your presentation and enjoy watching your audiences jaws hitting the floor!
Is this a special bottle that I would need to get back from the spectator after the effect?
No! That's what makes Labelled so powerful! When you visually push the signed label through the soda bottle, right before the spectators’ eyes, it's a very strong piece of magic! The audience will want to examine the bottle and they can. In fact you can leave it with them as an amazing and impossible souvenir!
I'm a working magician, is this going to be practical in real world conditions?
Yes! Once you learn the set up you can get this ready to perform in approx 15 minutes. The instructional video takes you through the whole process in detail in real time. This can be done pre-show, so when your out and about your ready to go! Alternatively you can reuse the bottle for an instant reset!
Visually stunning
Angle proof
Resets easily
Street magic at its best
Includes 'Junior Labelled', the super quick set up version! $29.95 (10.1365)

Iron Palm: Impossibly make a borrowed and marked coin appear inside a freely selected amd signed card! No magnets, wax, tape, strings, cut cards, or difficult preparation.
Exorcized Assembly: Matt’s ultra-visual, in-your-face version of McDonald's Aces. Using the Iron Palm gimmick you can leave your specially printed cards at home, and leave your audience feeling like they just saw real magic. Any four-of-a-kind are laid on the table. Three indifferent cards are laid onto each. One-by-one each card impossibly vanishes, and appears under the leader card, which can be in the spectators possession from the start! And see how Matt lets everything be examined with no trips to the pocket!
