The new system seems to be working out. Aron, the newest elf and my oldest son, has really been a quick study. He is here answering the phones and taking your orders. On the happiest of notes, the whole family was together last weekend in Oberlin, Ohio. We had the most fun Seder I have ever attended. All four of my immediate family were there plus a few of Lucas’ closest friends. It was great. You should have been there!
Then, on Saturday night, it was Lucas’ Senior Recital. He absolutely nailed it. He has grown so much in his singing over the past four years, it is truly amazing. We have the recital on DVD if anyone is interested. Just let me know.

So, it makes perfectly good sense to introduce a “princely” routine into your family shows.
A young prince decided to make his way in the world and his father offered him a choice of two precious objects: a ripe apple or a solid block of gold.
The prince chose the gold. You openly place the gold block into a box which the prince will then carry with him.
After a long journey, the prince finds himself in a desert; the block of gold is getting heavier and heavier and he begins to wish he'd chosen the apple. He opens the box to throw away the useless block of gold, and finds that it has changed into the apple!
So where is the block of gold? Why, it's back at the castle!
