The Red Sox win the ALDS and move on to the ALCS. I know all of you Angel fans thought that Varitek dropped the ball. But it was well after the tag was made, and he had control of the ball at that moment. Besides, wouldn’t a Red Sox-Dodgers World Series be so cool?
The Debates. Without making any kind of political comment, I found myself more confused after watching the debates than before. Who’s On First?
The Economy this week. Sheesh. I have always believed that your best investment is in magic! Especially magic from Hank Lee’s Magic Factory. Right?
But here, Reb Tevya, here in our little village of magic, here things are good. Looking outside the window at the real world, I can only say how glad I am that I live in this little world of magic. For that, I sincerely thank all of you, our loyal friends and customers. And, that’s the truth.
There is news other than outside the window. There is Conclave news. We have just booked England’s John Archer for next year’s Conclave. It’s a for-sure. I am a big fan of John’s work, so it should be a lot of fun. And, it is looking like Gaetan Bloom may be signing on very soon. I would be very excited to have Gaetan with us next year. So, add that to David Williamson, John Carney, Mike Caveney, Tina Lenert, Martin Lewis, Mathieu Bich, Nathan Kranzo and David Merry and the 2009 Conclave is starting to look really good! Next week at this time, we will be heading to Gainesville Florida for parents’ weekend at the University of Florida. There are 75,000 students at the University. Add roughly 150,000 parents and I begin to worry that Gainesville may sink under the weight. I will let you know how that goes.

Dice Matrix: From the brilliant mind of Turkish magician Kaya Elover comes Dice Matrix. It’s the classic Matrix effect done with dice instead of coins!
Show four dice and place them in an imaginary square, with one die at each corner of the square.
