Greetings from all of us at Hank Lee’s Magic Factory. I hope you enjoyed our one day only, never to be repeated, Surprise Sale. It started yesterday and ended this morning and I can tell you that a lot of people took advantage of the savings. So many that, for a while, it slowed the Online Catalog down to a crawl. But, we fixed that, and lots of people got to place orders. The elves are having dreams about pulling and packing orders. They call them nightmares, but I know they’re just joking.
Now that Lucas is working as a barista at Starbucks, he brings me coffee every day after work. Because, we don’t drink enough coffee here during the day. Gotta maintain that buzz. But, we must also remember to stay hydrated. Drinking a lot of coffee and tea can actually cause dehydration. So, remember to drink a lot of water as well. And, that’s today’s medical moment.

There has been a lot of hoo-hah on the message boards lately about the item, Sweeney’s Revenge. One dealer went online to say that he was sending the ones he received back to the manufacturer because he just couldn’t sell them to his customers, the quality was so bad. We immediately contacted the manufacturer, because ours are en route to us, and I didn’t want to be in the same position. The manufacturer sent us a really nice email to say that the ones we were getting were completely different than the ones sent to any other dealer, and really excellent quality. We should have ours in a few days, and believe me, if they are not the quality that we expect, we will not ship them to our customers. But, I have faith that they will be very good. I will keep your informed.
I just want to take a moment to mention the line of solid mahogany inlaid props that we are now carrying. They are made for us by a local craftsman and are absolutely beautiful. Right now, we have the Square Circle, Card Star (in two sizes) and the TV Card Frame. These are absolutely gorgeous, and available in very limited quantity. Check them all out in the Hotlist.

TV Card Frame – Deluxe Mahogany: From the same craftsman who builds our Card Star and Deluxe Square Circle, comes the most beautiful TV Card Frame I have ever seen. It is made of solid mahogany with a decorative inlay. Just gorgeous. And mechanically perfect.
A mind boggling effect that will leave your audience spellbound. Two sheets of Plexiglas are freely shown, and may be examined. The sheets are bound together with rubber bands. The bound pieces are placed into the solid mahogany stand, corner wise. The plastic is supported away from everything, about an inch from the base of the stand, and the table.
Now, have a spectator select a card, tear off one corner, and retain that corner. The card is returned to the deck, which is shuffled.
