Greetings from all of us at Hank Lee's Magic Factory. I am back from vacation as of this past Monday. It was a great week, let me tell you. There is just something special about Martha's Vineyard. The sun. The sand. The celebrity sightings. We saw Jon Bonjovi checking out art at the Granary Gallery. Tony Shalhoub touching the tippety tip of every car antenna. And, James Taylor in line at the market. I think he was humming a new song. Aron left for college the day after I arrived, and Lucas came home from camp. Luckily, I had the chance to spend some quality time with Aron during the first part of the summer. I had not been to the movies all summer, but once Lucas arrived, it was movie central. Clerks II, Snakes On A Plane, Accepted, Superman. All the important movies of the summer. It was all OK with me, I had really missed seeing Lucas this summer as he was away at Gimp Making Camp for 8 weeks. Ah, but now it's back to work. Nose to the grindstone. You would think that after
all these years of nose to the grindstone, my nose would be smaller. Sadly such is not the case. Still the same old
schnoz.

I Knew It All the Time - Paul Green - Explain that it is easy to fool people with card tricks because the cards are so small. Offer to do a trick that everyone can follow and proceed to produce a Jumbo card from your pocket. After a card is selected, turn over the jumbo card and reveal that it matches the selected card
Offer to repeat the same trick and produce a second jumbo card from your pocket. This time, you get into trouble, or so the spectators think. Yet, when you show the Jumbo card, it is a match!
Finally, offer to do the trick a third time without resorting to the regular cards. Produce a third jumbo card and ask that a number of spectators decide upon a final card. Multum In Parvo - This classic effect, invented by Benson Dulay, has been updated using modern plastic glasses that resemble crystal cut glass. The glasses are durable and easy to care for.
Multum In Parvo literally means Much In Little.
Start by displaying five different size glasses. They are lined up from smallest to largest and are all shown empty.
Pick up the smallest glass and fill it with milk from a pint-size milk carton. Display the small glass, look at the glass and shake your head, because you want a bigger glass of milk. Sadly, the milk carton is empty.
So, you pour the milk from the smallest glass into the next bigger glass. Magically, the milk fills the glass to the top!
Take this glass and fill up the next biggest glass; it also fills the glass to the top! The milk seems to be multiplying from glass to glass.
This is repeated all the way up to the largest glass. You have filled up the largest glass from a tiny glass of milk!
Now with the largest glass filled, you grin that magical grin and fill the four empty glasses to the top, from the largest down to the smallest. The largest glass fills up the other four glasses! Beautifully made. Very easy to do. $100.00
