We here at Hank Lee’s all knew it was coming. Despite Herculean efforts by Steve and Aron and Don, the handwriting was on the wall. As Steve put it, “this is such a nuanced business; it is impossible for a person to learn every phase in a short time.” I want to personally thank all of them for trying so hard to make it work.
It’s been a long and wonderful road; nearly four decades in business.  But, we have made the difficult decision to close Hank Lee’s Magic Factory. Sunday, October 28th will be our last day of operation.
I want to thank all of our customers and friends for their support over the past 37 years. There are no better people than you, anywhere.
I want to assure you that this closure is not forever. We will reorganize and we will be back.

(2) JumpINK – Rizki Nanda: Magically move permanent ink on a pack of gum!
Borrow a pack of gum from your spectator. You (or the spectator) draw a big bold X on one of the compartments.
You then take the pack of gum, and with no cover at all, cause that mark to visibly jump to another compartment.
One by one, it travels across the whole pack, to end up at the top.

(13) Dunninger Knows – Joseph Atmore:
Dunninger Knows provides a rare opportunity to learn about the incredible Brain Busters Dunninger performed as well as providing the information to incorporate them into your own act.
In 2001, Joseph Atmore authored Dunninger's Brain Busters which primarily covered Dunninger's radio work. In the ten years since publication, Atmore has collected a huge amount of TV scripts, researched the popular and magic press, conducted interviews with cast and crew and located film footage of his television work.
This new book covers all of his television series in chronological / airdate order, along with some of his guest appearances on other shows. The "in between series" years are also covered. There is quite a lot of behind the scenes history regarding Dunninger's four series and rare and unique photographs and documents are included to tell the story. While consulting on Uri Geller's show in Germany a few years ago, Atmore even tracked down a European television film Dunninger recorded in 1955.
Over 100 Brain Busters are examined by not only Atmore, but Banachek, Jan Bardi, Stuart Cumberland, Ken Dyne, Lee Earle, Mathias Fischedick, Nicolai Friedrich, Devin Knight, Looch, Drew McAdam, Colin Mcleod, Max Maven, Richard Osterlind and Marc Paul. The foreword has been written by the International Man of Mystery David Berglas, who can truly understand Dunninger's impact on the world of mentalism. Methods are provided and in some cases, multiple methods are developed for the routines. (13) Dunninger Knows – Joseph Atmore:
Dunninger Knows provides a rare opportunity to learn about the incredible Brain Busters Dunninger performed as well as providing the information to incorporate them into your own act.
In 2001, Joseph Atmore authored Dunninger's Brain Busters which primarily covered Dunninger's radio work. While consulting on Uri Geller's show in Germany a few years ago, Atmore even tracked down a European television film Dunninger recorded in 1955.
Over 100 Brain Busters are examined by not only Atmore, but Banachek, Jan Bardi, Stuart Cumberland, Ken Dyne, Lee Earle, Mathias Fischedick, Nicolai Friedrich, Devin Knight, Looch, Drew McAdam, Colin Mcleod, Max Maven, Richard Osterlind and Marc Paul. The foreword has been written by the International Man of Mystery David Berglas, who can truly understand Dunninger's impact on the world of mentalism. Methods are provided and in some cases, multiple methods are developed for the routines. (10) Dunninger Knows – Joseph Atmore:
Dunninger Knows provides a rare opportunity to learn about the incredible Brain Busters Dunninger performed as well as providing the information to incorporate them into your own act.
In 2001, Joseph Atmore authored Dunninger's Brain Busters which primarily covered Dunninger's radio work. In the ten years since publication, Atmore has collected a huge amount of TV scripts, researched the popular and magic press, conducted interviews with cast and crew and located film footage of his television work.
This new book covers all of his television series in chronological / airdate order, along with some of his guest appearances on other shows. The "in between series" years are also covered. There is quite a lot of behind the scenes history regarding Dunninger's four series and rare and unique photographs and documents are included to tell the story. While consulting on Uri Geller's show in Germany a few years ago, Atmore even tracked down a European television film Dunninger recorded in 1955.
Over 100 Brain Busters are examined by not only Atmore, but Banachek, Jan Bardi, Stuart Cumberland, Ken Dyne, Lee Earle, Mathias Fischedick, Nicolai Friedrich, Devin Knight, Looch, Drew McAdam, Colin Mcleod, Max Maven, Richard Osterlind and Marc Paul. The foreword has been written by the International Man of Mystery David Berglas, who can truly understand Dunninger's impact on the world of mentalism. Methods are provided and in some cases, multiple methods are developed for the routines. In cases where a routine would need to be modernized for today (which actually is the rare exception), that information has been provided as well.

(1) The Mark – John Murray:
A complete sellout at the Blackpool Convention.
Boy, is this good! When Al Cohen first showed me The Mark, I was totally baffled! It's a real beauty. Show a half dollar. Ask a spectator to mark the coin in whatever manner she chooses. Just as long as she will remember the mark should she see it again. Now, go through some very funny business as you attempt to vanish the coin. But, try as you might, the coin will not disappear. Finally, in desperation, you reach into your pocket and bring out your Magic Keys. Ask the spectator to hold the keys tightly in her hand and wave them over the coin. As she waves the keys, the marked coin is caused to vanish! And, when she opens her hand, there, inside a solid metal bezel is the marked coin! The same coin she signed earlier is attached firmly to your key chain. The only way the coin may be removed is to unscrew the bezel and take it out! Remember, the coin remains in full view throughout the routine. And, the spectator is holding the key chain long before the coin vanishes! ! The effect is a corker; the coins are beautifully made. Real precision work! They will withstand the most rigorous scrutiny! And, the effect is a snap to perform. If you can do a French Drop, or any other coin vanish, you can do The Mark. This one has our stamp of approval!

(2) Antique Pillbox – Dave Powell: A beautiful prop, crafted by our good friend Dave Powell. Available in very small numbers, so act quickly!
The performer places a glass on the table and borrows a finger ring.
The ring is placed in a handkerchief  and given to a spectator to hold over the glass.
He can actually feel the ring through the handkerchief.
The performer removes a small, locked wooden box and places it in full view.
The spectator is asked to drop the ring into the glass. The spectator lets go of the ring as it clinks into the glass.
The handkerchief is whisked away; the ring has vanished!
The spectator unlocks the box himself, and discovers his ring inside!
This does not work like a Lippincott Box. No sliding or pivoting trap doors. It has no magnets. It works like no other box in the world and it's completely examinable!
Once locked the box cannot be opened without removing the lock or using the special tool to activate the secret!

The story is about a gambler who had some strange habits. He had a favorite blackjack hand -- presumably an ace and a face card -- and a lucky poker chip. He always started to play at the same time of the day, and bet the same amount of money.
The spectator is asked to name a bill of any denomination. It is a free choice.
The performer then takes a deck of cards and starts to deal the cards one by one. The spectator can stop at any two cards; again, it is a free choice.
The spectator gets to choose from four different colored poker chips. He does so freely again.
Finally, the spectator sets a random time on a watch.
Now is the time for the miracle to happen: The spectator is invited to open the envelope on the table. Inside is a photograph. On the photograph is the exact same denomination bill, the lucky poker chip, the same two cards and a pocket watch, set to the exact same time as the spectator's prediction. Your spectator brought the story to life by making free choices throughout the routine, which somehow match the photograph exactly.
